The MBR membrane assembly is the core component of the membrane bioreactor (Membrane Bio-Reactor). It is composed of ultra-microfiltration membranes and integrates water collection and production water intakes. It is the core part of the membrane device.

Description

MBR membrane modules
The main function is to collect the MBR system's produced water and aerate the membrane modules:
1. Highly resistant MBR membrane: The filter membrane has an average pore size of 0.1μm and is made of reinforced PVDF filaments with an inner lining.
2. Water collection manifold: This collects the produced water from each MBR membrane. After the assembly is assembled, a flange or internal/external threaded outlet is reserved.
3. Aeration manifold and branch pipes: These perforated aeration pipes primarily provide air-water mixing, flush the membrane surface, mitigate or prevent membrane fouling, and provide biochemical oxygen demand. Aeration branch pipes connect to the manifold at the bottom of the membrane, and these branch pipes converge at the manifold. After the assembly is assembled, a flange or internal/external threaded air inlet is reserved.
4. Membrane outlet female connector and membrane blanking cap: The outlet female connector is used to connect to the collection pipe's external connector.
5. Diaphragm blanking cap: This seals any excess outlets from the membrane.
6. Lifting lugs: Used for lifting the membrane module.
